展示一张学生得到资助的图片 ask: Who are they? What are the teachers doing? 启发学生回答：The teachers are giving some school things and some money to the students.
T: Besides poor students need help, other people need help too, how can we help them?
Step3. Presentation
Show the pictures of A and teach new words.
Have the students read the new words aloud.
Do a PK
Have Ss finish A and check the answers in class.
Step4. Pairwork
Show the pictures of A and have Ss practise conversation like this:
A:What are disabled people?
B:Disabled people can’t walk.
A:How can we help them?
B:We can help them carry things.
Play tape of B for Ss listen and repeat and then answer the question
What are homeless people ?
How can we help homeless people?
Have Ss read the conversation again and pratise in groups then in pairs.
