watch a video about Snow White, then ask two questions:

Who is the girl?

(The girl is called) Snow White.

Who ate the apple?

(The apple was eaten by) Snow White.

Let students pay attention to the underlined words: is called& was eaten.

Present the meanings of active voice and passive voice.

Present two pictures about passive voice.

Let students know something about passive voice.

(be+动词的过去分词)

Let students find out whether they are active or passive voice.

1)Millie and Amy took the little cat to the animal center yesterday.

2)The 79-year-old man was saved out of a fire last year.

3)This kind of cake is called mooncake.

4)People use a keyboard to type information into the computer.

5)The windows in our classroom are cleaned once a

week.

Step2?Presentation?

Use?PPT?to?show?some?examples?about?when?to?use?the?passive?voice.

Present some pictures using passive voice. Let students conclude the basic construction of the passive voice in the simple present tense, the negative sentence and wh-question sentence.

Use the same way to present the passive voice in the simple past tense.?

Present two pictures about how to change active voice into passive voice. And present an easy way to remember how to change the active voice into passive voice.

Step 3 practice

Present four sentences on the ppt. let students change them into passive voice. Then check the answers.

Finish exercises of part A using the passive voice on Page 99 and 100.

Finish exercises of part B using the passive voice on Page 100.
