Step One Lead in
1.Review something about the last class, have communication with ss about “green life” lead the ss to discuss the environment.
2.Then the teacher shows pictures about Switzerland

T: Kitty’s online friend Martina is a middle school student in Switzerland. She’s writing in her blog on World Environment Day. Let’s read her article to find out more information.

【设计意图】以旧带新，从学生熟悉的东西入口，既复习了第一课时的相关内容同时又自然引出本课话题和相关生词。
Step Two Presentation
T: When is World Environment Day?
Ask ss to read the text quickly and tell the answers. present the new words and phrases（利用相关图片呈现生词和词组，使用淡入功能呈现）.
2. Finish B1 ,then check the answers in class ( Ask ss to guess the meaning of the words according to the context.)
3. Review the new words and phrases quickly 整体呈现与Reading相关所有生词，采用隐藏功能遮盖单词的中文或英文让学生迅速说出相关信息。

Ask ss to close their books and watch the video and try to get some information , then finish B2

1. Ask ss to read the text carefully , then work in pairs to discuss the main idea of each paragraph and try to divide the text into right parts.
2.Give ss several minutes to read the text again, read it more carefully and then try to answer the questions paragraph 1
