句型Some…, some…, and others…. 表示“一些…, 一些…, 还有一些”。

4. We are not allowed to cut down trees. 我们是不允许砍伐树木的。
allow sb. to do sth.允许某人做某事 sb. be allowed to do sth.某人被允许做某事
e.g. My boss doesn’t allow me to use the telephone. 老板不允许我使用电话。
5. Nature is our greatest treasure.We depend on its rich resources to live, so it is important for us to protect it wisely.
大自然是我们最大的财富。我们依靠其丰富的资源生存，所以要理智地保护它，这一点很重要。句中depend on 的意思是“依靠，依赖，取决于” 。
e.g. I don’t want to depend too much on my parents. 我不想太依靠我父母。
6. These new types of energy cost very little and will never run out.

e.g. Our food soon ran out. 我们的食物不久就吃光了。
