一、单元教材分析

本教材单元属于“人与社会”主题语境,“文学、艺术与体育”主题群,主题语境内容要求为“了解现代与古代艺术,赏析与比较艺术作品”。本单元包含2个阅读语篇。Reading是一篇评论,介绍著名艺术家梵高的生平与作品;More Reading是说明文,主要内容是艺术的起源。单元中的语法板块(Modal verbs + have + past participle)、听说板块(艺术博物馆的语音导览及艺术作品比较)、写作板块(有关15岁以下的孩子能否进入艺术博物馆的议论文写作)也都围绕着“艺术”这一主题。

学生通过整个单元的学习能够:

了解艺术家梵高的生平和作品及艺术的起源;

听懂艺术博物馆的语音导览,艺术家Picasso的生平与作品的介绍,并运用表格进行
