Before class

In class

Step 1 Lead-in

Enjoy a video: Let the students watch some ball games.

Step 2 Words learning

1. Present the pictures of basketball, volleyball and soccer ball.

The students are asked to answer the two questions when they see the pictures.

— Spell it, please.

— ___________.

2. Present some pictures of other three balls and two bats.

The teacher will ask the question :“What’s that ?” to make the students say the word.

3. Present all the pictures of the balls and bats.

The teacher teaches the words one by one, and the students are asked to read them together.
