外研2003课标版《Grammar》集体备课教案优质课下载

The first hand material for students is the text. In the Reading and Vocabulary part of this module, by reading the text, students have an access to some attributive clauses. According to those sentences, students can summarize the structure and relatives of attributive clause. In addition, they will be offered other classical sentences containing attributive clauses. By doing exercise provided by the teacher, they will learn more about how to combine single sentences into attributive clauses. At the end of the lesson, the letter to mom is a good way for them to practice using this sentence pattern.

II. Analysis of students

The students have learned the text, and with the related knowledge in junior school, they can master the basic knowledge of attributive clause. However, they know little about how to use “ preposition+which/whom/whose”to relate attributive clause. Also, they lack the opportunity to put attributive clauses into practice.

III. Three-Dimension Objectives

i. Knowledge and Skills:

Students will be able to be aware of the structure of attributive clauses.

Students will be able to summarize the relatives of attributive clauses and learn how to choose relatives.

Students can combine single sentences into attributive clauses by choosing the correct relatives or prep.+ relatives.

Students will be able to polish an essay, using as many attributive clauses as possible.

ii. Process and Method

Through autonomous learning, students will be able to gain a general idea of attributive clauses, such as the structure, the relatives (relative pronouns and relative adverbs).

Through cooperative research, students will find the ways to choose relative and get to know more about prep.+ relatives (which,whom,whose).

Through inductive sublimation, students will develop the awareness of using attributive clauses while expressing ideas.

Through feedback check, students apply what they know about attributive clauses to the letter to their mom.

iii. Emotion, Attitude and Value

Students will be inspired to express ideas by using attributive clauses.

Students will be inspired to present their ideas to others and exchange ideas with each other.

Students will develop the passion for English and love for their mom.

iv. Key points

1. Help the students acknowledge the structure and usage of attributive clause.

2. Help the students improve their writing by using attributive clause.

Choose proper prepositions to relate attributive clauses.

Apply attributive clauses to writing naturally and skillfully.
