T: Who is the first invitation from?
What other information can you get from the invitation?
S: time, place ,event, inviter, invitee

Show the students a new invitation .
T: let us see which words and phrases can we use in the invitation.
S: the nursing home ,the Double Ninth Festival, the elderly, invite sb to do sth…

T: If you are asked to write an invitation, how many paragraphs can you divided the invitation into?
For the first paragraph, T: what will you write ? What is the purpose for the writer in this invitation?
For the second paragraph, main body.
