Show a part of a letter and ask:What’s this?(It’s ...)Then show the whole letter to check the answer.
Show some pictures on the screen to let the students identify different things.

Teach the new sentence and the new words.Pay attention to the pronunciation,especially the article an before the words orange and apple.

T:In the last unit,we’ve learned the capital letters and smell letters Aa-Hh.Please look for the smell letters A-H. Do it individually,and tick in the blank line.

Play the tape of the conversation in the picture.Please listen carefully and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation first.Then,play it again for the Ss to repeat.
