Teaching strategies: individual work, pair work and group work

Teaching procedures:

Ⅰ.Pre-class stage

(one day before the class).Give the materials to students and assign the preview tasks to them.

Ⅱ.While-class stage

Step1. Leading in

1.let the students check the answers.

2.The students check the answers by themselves and make a self-analysis.

Purposes: let students know their main problems and encourage the students who did well.

Step2. Study and discussion

1.Ask students to read the text for more information by using reading skills of skimming,scanning and generalization .

2. Students discuss to find anything they like in the passages, such as key points and beautiful sentences.

Purposes: Guide students to think of the rules of designing questions and conclude the methods to solve such questions.
