(about 5 minutes) Watch two videos of ads and show the objectives of this lesson

The objectives:

1. To learn two main types of ads

2.To learn how to write a good slogan and ad

让学生看两个广告视频,直观感受商业广告和公益广告的区别,带领学生进入广告世界。

2. 展示这节课要达到的目标,让学生清楚这节课的内容。

Step Ⅱ Presentation (about 7 minutes)

Types of ads (about 2 minutes)

Ask students what the two main types of advertisements are and their aims.

2. Observation (about 2 minutes)

Get the students to observe the four posters on Page 1 , and try to get the students to divide the ads into two types.

3. A game (about 3 minutes)

Show the students some pictures of ads and get them to guess what kind of ads they are , commercial ads or PSAs? Students should rush to answer.

Look at some slogans and guess the products (English names) .
