Learning procedures:

Step 1【导入】 Lead-in

Have students enjoy two groups of pictures and ask them the following questions:

Which type do they belong to? What are the aims?

What makes a good ad?

Step 2【讲授】 Read and answer. (part B on page 13)

1).what is it about?

2).Do you think packaging is important for a product? Why or why not?

3).How to express opinions?

I (don't) think/ believe that... It seems to me that... In my opinion/ To me,...

And how to give reasons?

as/ because/ since.. First,...Second,...Then... (Next,...Finally,...)

Step three 【仿说】talking about ads

Interview form(A同学选取几个问题进行采访,B回答时尽量使用上面的句型。)

1. What is your opinion on ad in public places?

2. What do you think makes ads interesting?

3. What have you seen in an ad and later bought?

4. What is/are your favourite ad(s)? Why?

5. What ad(s) do you like least? Why?

Step four 【自学】Sample 1, Sample 2 and Sample 3

Fill in the blanks.

What to write?( what kind of information can be covered in an ad?)

How to write ?( what kind of sentence types can be used in an ad?)

4. Label the sentence types.

Step five 【仿写】Write an ad for Chocoloco Bar(包含要点,使用尽量多的句型)
