To encourage students to recite the poem ‘A Red Red Rose’with emotion.

To help the students say love to an important person in their life.

二:Teaching Difficult and Key points:

1. Show two versions of this poem and help the students to find the different spelling.

2. Help students to find out the symbols used in the poem.

3. Explain to the students these words like stanza; line; simile; rhyme; repetition and hyperbole.

4. Encourage the students to recite a poem with emotion.

5. Encourage the students to express their feelings in English.
