The text is about the different types of British newspapers and their functions, which will be understood by the learners through reading and discussing it.
Analysing the learners
The learners are seldom exposed to the newspapers from English-speaking countries, so some British newspapers are presented to the learners by pictures through multi-media, which, I think, will help the learners to get into their study as soon as possible.
