Step 1 Lead-in
Introduce Britain, also known as the Kingdom of Newspapers, and then show the photo group to explain the history and current situation of British newspapers.
Step 2 Fast-reading
Let students read the text, find out and classify all the newspapers that mentioned in the passage and complete Task 1 on the worksheet.
Lead students to think about why tabloids are more popular than quality newspapers.
Step 3 Careful-reading
