1．知识目标：

重点词汇：charge with/for/in，in charge of, compete in/with/against/for，take part in, every four years, host，admit doing，be admitted to/as,be/get married to，fine等。

能力目标:

（1）能牢记这些词汇及相关短语的意思，并能在具体的语境中准确理解这些词汇的意思。

（2）能比较准确的运用这些词汇表达相关的句子。

（3）帮助学生掌握一定的记忆词汇技巧和拓展词汇的基本方法。

3．情感目标：

（1）通过游戏互动，填词造句等活动，激发学生记单词的积极性，并培养其竞争精神。

（2）通过写作练习，鼓励学生向自己最喜欢的运动员、歌手或其他人学习。

三、教学重难点：

（1）培养学生快而多的记忆词汇的能力和技巧。

（2）使学生掌握本单元的重点词汇并能较准确的运用于实践。

四、教具准备：The multimedia and other normal teaching tools.

六、教学过程：

Step 1 Warming up.

1.用David Wilkins的“Without grammar very little can be conveyed；without vocabulary nothing can be conveyed.”（“没有语法,能表达的内容甚少;没有词汇,则什么内容也表达不。”）引入词汇的话题。

2.Play a game to check students’ words reciting.

T: As we all know, when learn a foreign language, vocabulary is very important. Today, we are going to review Book 2 Unit 2. Have you kept the vocabulary of this unit in your mind? Now, let’s play a game to check it.

Game introduction:let a word or a phrase fly in a ball, meanwhile, the student should tell its Chinese meaning before it disappears from the screen.

[设计说明] 通过名人名言引入话题，更有说服力，让学生重视单词学习和记忆。Let the words fly这样一个挑战自我的小游戏激发学生检查自己词汇记忆的热情，调动学生记忆词汇的积极性，培养学生竞争意识。

Step 2 Familiarize the vocabulary.
