Step 1. Revision and Presentation

Review the route of two girls and let students introduce some big cities in Canada by showing their thinking maps.

Step 2. Writing (three difficulty levels)

T: I have some friends who want to visit Canada. But they put forward different requirements. You need choose one proper city for each of them.

Situation 1: A photographer (simple version)

“Hi, I'm James. I'm a photographer. I will go to Canada and I want to have a good look at amazing scenery. I like food, too, especially Chinese food. Can you recommend a place for me?”

The teacher plays a short recording about the letter. While listening, students need to fill in the blanks.

Dear James,

I have received your letter saying(say) that you plan to have(have) a visit to Canada. I recommend(推荐)Toronto as your destination.
