The teaching content of this lesson is from unit1 of book 4, which is the part Discovering useful structures. This teaching period mainly deal with the grammar: Subject-verb Agreement, which plays an important role in English learning. There are many rules that are detailed knowledge and abstract. By giving a lot of example sentences, the students compare, discover and practice to learn and grasp. Meanwhile, lead the students to learn to summarize and use properly.

三、学情分析 Students’ learning Analysis:

Students in Senior 1 have mastered a certain amount of vocabulary and they should have the ability to do some exercise about grammar. However, grammar is always a hard part for them because of the differences between English and Chinese. And as freshmen in senior school, they haven’t formed the awareness of self-learning and cooperating-learning, which need to be improved urgently. Besides, the Ss in our school are commonly poor in listening and speaking duo to lack of language communication atmosphere. Therefore, to make the students feel relaxed and willing to learn is the most important factor I will consider in my teaching process. To my relief, the Ss of this age are full of imagination and creativity and they are eager to show themselves, so I will make use of these features of the Ss to get them involved in different activities and give them enough opportunities to show themselves. Thus, I believe the students will follow me to lean efficiently.
