Activity 1: What tenses are used in my introduction?
Hello! My name is Homer. I love English. I am working in Lin Xi Experimental High School now. Since my graduation from college, I have made it my career so much. While I was in my college, I was devoting myself to improving my English during that time. When I graduated from my college, I had passed the TEM-8 exam. Then I believed I would be a qualified teacher. In this class, we are going to revise basic 8 tenses in the English language. Hope you will enjoy this class.
Activity 2: Revise the structures and usages of eight tenses
Read and remember the following explanations below for 5 minutes (大声背诵5分钟)
提示：以下讲解中do代表动词原形，does代表动词三单形式，did代表动词过去式，done代表动词过去分词
一般现在时: 结构：do/does; am/is/are
表示现阶段经常或习惯发生的动作或存在的状态,或说明主语的特征。
We often finish our homework in the evening.
表示客观真理、事实。 The earth moves around the sun.
表示按照时间表，日程表进行的事情, 用一般现在时表将来动作。
The train for Haikou leaves at 8：00 in the morning.
主句中用一般将来时的时候，在条件、时间、让步状语从句中用一般现在时表示将来动作。
Even if it rains tomorrow, the football match will take place on time.
一般过去时: 结构：did; was/were
表示过去某时或某阶段发生的动作或状态。
Yao Ming played basketball in NBA for several years.
在时间、条件从句中用一般过去时代替过去将来时。
He said he would not leave if it rained.
一般将来时。结构：will/shall do; am/is/are going to do; am/is/are to do
Will/shall表将来某时间或经常要发生的动作或状态或临时决定要做某事。
shall用于第一人称, will用于所有人称。
I will be 20 years old next year.
“be going to do” 表示打算或准备要做的事情,或者有迹象将要发生的事情,而“am/is/are to do”表示安排或计划要做的动作。
It’s going to rain soon.
