Step 1. Warming- up

Let the students listen to an song .

Hello, everyone, Just now,You heard an English song. Do you like it? Do you want to know its name? Do not be hurry, Let us have our class first. Then I will tell you its name. OK? Class begins.

Step 2. Presentation

We all know that there are many cities and countries in the world. Yes? Now look at this picture. What is this? What city is it? Which country? So it is Beijing, it is in China.

Now ,look at this picture, There are many beautiful fliowers. Do you know their name? Where are they? What city is it? It is Tokyo. It is in Japan.

Next picture, What is this? It is Sydney Opera House. What city is it? Which country ?It is in Australia.

Ok, This picture, she is a beautiful woman. Who is she ?She is State of Liberty. Do you know what city it is? Which country? It is New York. It is in America.

Step 3.

Next, I want to know if the time is the same in every country? Look at these pictures. These are different countries and these are different time. What time is it in Beijing now? It is 8:00 a.m. What time is it in Tokyo/New York/Sydney? It is …..

Step 4.
