V. Teaching procedures:

Step 1 greetings and Lead-in

Make a dialogue and lead in the topic ——the Object Clause, then differentiate the sentence elements , get two kinds of the object clause and finish the exercises.

Use the following dialogue :

T: Did you review English yesterday ?

S:Yes, we reviewed English ------we reviewed what the teacher taught yesterday.

T: Students, please looking at the blackboard! That is to say, we are looking at the blackboard.----we are looking at what is on the blackboard.

Finish the exercises to find out the Object Clause.

Step 2 Presentation

Present the main structure of the sentences with an object clause, that is, subject + predicate + conjunction +clause. Analysis and explain to the students one by one .

“the conjunctions” of the Object Clause

A. that

Model: I believe that you can learn English well.

Everybody could see it was dangerous and that Tom was frightened.

Finish the exercise (2013高考题)

B. if; whether

Model: Tom wants to know whether /if he can come .
