难点重点:1.关于未来梦想的词汇:be famous, go to college, travel around the world ,get an education; 2. 用“If…,will…”句型谈论对未来职业的结果预测。

1.T: Hey, class. There are so many teachers in today’s class. Are you nervous?

If you are nervous , what can/ should you do?

If we are nervous, maybe we can watch a music video to relax.?

2. T asks Ss to talk about their dreams.1.Ss reply to the teacher and then watch the music video.

2. Several students tell about their dreams.1-2 To make Ss less nervous and lead in the topic.

?2. The pains of being a child.1.T shows four numbers connected to four dreams. Encourage the students to choose and talk about the consequences by using“If…, I will…”

2. T introduces Michael and his pains of being a child and get Ss to give advice to him by using“If you…, maybe you can/ should…”

3.Get Ss to talk about their problems and ask their partner for advice.

1.Four students choose the numbers and reply to T’s questions.

2.Ss try to give advice on Michael’s problems by using “If you..., maybe you should…”

3.Ss do the pairwork with their partners.1. To practice talking about the consequences by using the structure..

2&3 In this way ,Ss will learn how to give advice by using the modal verb “should”.3.The pains of being a teenager.1.T introduce Michael’s problem now and get Ss to talk about “What will happen if he becomes a soccer player?” “What will happen if he doesn’t become a soccer player?”

2. T shows a picture of an agent from the Lions and teach the new word. Then T plays the conversation between Michael and the agent.

3.T plays the conversation between Michael and his parents. Get Ss to find what they want Michael to do.

4.T plays the conversations again and get Ss to find out the reasons.
