二、学情分析:

从英语语言知识上来说,在经过一节听说课和一节阅读课的教学后,大部分学生对被动语态都有了不错的了解与掌握,尤其是对When was it invented? Who was it invented by?What is it used for?句型有了一定的认识与理解;

从文化知识上来说,同学们对历史知识,尤其是与日常生活相关联的历史知识充满了好奇与渴望。

三、教学过程:

Knowledge objects:

1.Grasp the key words and expressions:

Words:fridge, low, somebody, translate, lock, earthquake, …

Phrases:at a low price, all of a sudden, work on , less than …

Sentence structures:

When was the zipper invented? It was invented in1893.

Who was it invented by? It was invented by Whitcomb Judson.

When was tea brought to Korea?

It was brought to Korea during the 6th and 7th centuries.

What is the hot ice-cream scoop used for?

It’s used for serving really cold ice-cream.

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in 1876.

The telephone was invented (by Alexander Graham Bell) in 1876.

2.Learn the passive voice especially sentences in Simple Past Tense。

Ability objects:

Learn to solve problems by pairwork or groupwork.

Learn to express our opinions using the passive voice.

To improve students’ listening , speaking, reading and writing.
