Step 1 Warm up

Greet the students as usual.

Step 2 Presentation

Teach activity 1a

Call students’ attention to the picture and read the instructions to the class. Then have students write down what they see in the picture in the blanks.

Get students to look at the dialogue in the picture, and invite a pair of students to read it out. Then explain the word “belong” to the class.

Belong means to be owned by sb.
