1) 掌握本课时中出现的生词truck, picnic, volleyball, whose, pink, rabbit, valuable,

somebody, anybody

2) 学会描述表示物品所属提问和回答:

—Whose book is this?

—It must be Mary's.

2. 教学难点:

Whose .......is this? 句型

三、教学过程

Ⅰ. Presentation

Present some pictures, ask and answer:

A: Whose book is this?

B: It belongs to Li Gang.

A: Whose … is this?

B: It is someone’s.

Then have a discussion about “belong to someone”and “be someone’s”

Ⅱ.Look and guess.

Show some pictures and let students guess what it is . Use “may/might be”, “can/can’t be”and “must be”.

Ⅲ. Finish 1a.

Look at the chart in 1a, then discuss with your group mates. Try to

fill in the chart with words to describe people.

2. Let some Ss say their answers. Let other Ss add more.

Ⅳ. Listening

1. T: Here are some things belonging to those five people. Listen and match each person with a thing and a reason.

2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen.

3. Ss listen and try to match the each person with a thing and a reason.
