Lead in

A: Watch a video . Let the Ss guess the video about? Then show the title--Weather.

Pay attention to the “ea”, “th”, “er”. use the gesture to help Ss to read the words.

B:Guess the sound . (windy) then shows a pictures about windy.

Do action about windy.

C :Guess the sound . (rainy) . Do action about windy.

D:Show some pictures about sunny, snowy,cloudy.

Pay attention to the pronunciation of the letter “y”.

From part A to D, teacher uses the phonics to teach.

Practice

A: Let’s read and do the action.

B: Play a game. “Guess which one is missing?”

C: A new chant. “PPAP”

I have a sun, I have a “y”, en, sunny.

I have a cloud, I have a “y”, en, cloudy.

I have a wind, I have a “y”, en, windy.

I have a rain, I have a “y”, en, rainy.

I have a snow, I have a “y”, en, snowy.

D: T: Different weather ,we can do different things, now let’s practice, make a short dialogue like this.

--It’s sunny.

---I can play football.

B: Ss make the dialogue by themselves.

Consolidation and function:

A: Draw the weather icons on the paper. Then show time “I’m a TV reporter.”

B: Appreciate a video about weather.

Teacher tells Ss ---- “Rainbow comes after the storm.”
