个人智慧展示

Step1:leading&Reviewing

The teacher shows the learning aims to the class,and students read them by themselves.But some

students can’t read them in English.So the teacher says:“I can read them in English,but I know some of you can’t read them in Chinese.”

Then the teacher shows some picture with smiling faces and sad faces,and students make sentences with can and can’t.

The teacher plays an English song I can sing it well,then asks some students make dialogues.

Step2:Presentation

A:T:I teach you English,so can Miss Wu speak English?

S:Yes,she can.

T:But I didn’t learn Japanese,so can Miss Wu speak Japanese?

S:No,she can’t.

Then the teacher shows a question:“Can Miss Wu speak English or Japanese?”The students answer together“Miss Wu can speak English.”

B:part 2:The teacher shows the example of part2,and explain a little/very well.Then students make up new conversations like the example.

C:The teacher shows a picture of Polly,and show the new words and new phrases.

Step3:Consolidation

A:listen to 1a and answer the question.

“Can Polly speak Chinese or English”

B:The teacher shows the question:

“What else can Polly do?”Then finish 1b

C:follow the conversation sentence by sentence.

D:Students read the conversation and imitate the intonation of Polly.
