大部分学生掌握了英语学习的一些基本方法,能够积极主动认真地学习,学习成绩较好。对基础知识的掌握和基本技能的训练都能很好的完成,有能力掌握词汇、语法、句型等基础知识和听、说、读、写等基本技能,有良好的学习习惯和自主探索合作学习能力。但还有少部分学生学习自觉性欠缺,缺乏热情。因此,我努力激发学生学习英语的兴趣,充分调动学生的学习积极性和主动性,使每一位学生都能在学习中有所收获、有所进步,努力发现和总结语言规律,注意知识的巩固和积累。

Lesson Plan

By the end of the lesson,students are expected to

Be able to understand and grasp the ways of some key words and phrases in this unit.

Be able to applicate frequency adverbs,the ways of transportation,some sentence patterns about “how”, and the present continuous tense correctly.

Learn to cooperate and solve the problems with each other in a positive attitude.

Teaching focus and difficulties

Grasp the expressions about the ways of transportation .

Applicate the contents of this unit to realistic talking.

Teaching Facilities: Power Point slides, computer and blackboard

Teaching Procedures:

Step1. Revision

1、Enjoy a flash. Teacher plays a flash and ask students to find out what kinds of transportation they can see in the movie .

利用视频展示改革开放四十年来交通工具的变化,直观生动,激发学生学习及复习交通工具的兴趣。

T: What kinds of transportation can you see in the movie?

S1:Bicycles and buses.

T: Anything else?

S2: Green passenger trains and private cars.

S3: Airplanes and high-speed trains.

S4: Shared bikes.

...

T:Ok.You did an excellent job.

(Students’ activity: Focus their attention on the movie and the teachers’ questions)

2、Show the learning objectives on the screen.

让学生明确本节课教学目标,对本课的学习有整体上的把握。

T: Today,we are going to review Unit5. Let’s look at the learning objectives. First, we will review some key words and phrases in this unit. Second, we will review frequency adverbs and the ways of transportation. Third, we will review some sentence patterns about “how”. At last, we will review the present continuous tense. (Students’ activity: Understand the learning objectives in this unit.

3、Lead-in

Play a game : Teacher shows some words and ask students to speak out these words on the apples.
