Ss:Yes.

T:OK.So do you want to know where Wu Chen and her mother are and what they are doing?

Ss:Yes.

Step3、New knowledge(15分钟)

1、Show the students PPT and ask the question

T:How many people are there in the picture and who are they?

Ss: Two. They are Wu Chen’s father and mother.

T:Right!Let’s listen to the dialogue and read after the tape .

2、The partners practice the dialogue and do the actions.

板书What are you doing?I’m cooking.用红笔画出I’m, are you和-ing.

3、The students read the dialogue together.

4、Use the same method to teach the next dialogue.

板书What is she doing?She is reading a book. 用红笔画出she is和-ing。

5、讲解现在进行时态:表示正在进行或发生的动作

结构:主语+be(am/is/are)+动词-ing.

For example: I am standing.
