Step 1. Warming-up and revision

1). Daily greetings to students

T: Class begins! Good morning, boys and girls..

S: Good morning, Nina.

T: What a fine day, how are you today?

S1: I’m fine, thank you.

T: How are you, Tom?

S2: I’m fine, thank you.

. Enjoy a song: Hello, daddy, mommy (When students sing this song, please do the actions).

Step 2. Lead-in

T: This song is about the love of daddy and mommy, we all have a family, how about Peppa pig? (show the picture of Peppa pig’s family on PPT) What’s this?

S1: It’s the Peppa pig.(Students can say it in Chinese)

T: Yes, you are so smart. This is her mother, this is her father, this is a family photo of Peppa pig. So today, we will learn a new lesson related to our family members called “This is my mother.” (put the title on the blackboard)

Step 3.New words and sentences

Teach “me” (Show the picture of Peppa pig)

T: Guess, what’s this?

S: It’s Peppa pig.
