Lead-in:

The teacher brings a news: “We are going to have a sports day this month.” Then lead into the title :Are you going to run on sports day?

Step 2 Task Presentation:

Teacher: Our sports day is coming.After the class,you can use“Are you going to...?”to ask your friends' plans on sports day.

Step 3 Text-learning

Play the video of Activity 1. Listen, point and find “Are you going to...”(学生找出本课功能句,并给出相应回答)

Play the video of Activity 1 again.
