Step = 2 ﹨ ROMAN II Presentation

Present the target language with the pictures of Yao Ming, Li Yuchun and Liu Xiang .

Then guide the students to answer the teacher’s questions using the key vocabulary and the target language.

Step = 3 ﹨ ROMAN III Pairwork

Ask students to name as many of the activities as they can, which they will see in the big screen. Then do pairwork to practice the target languages.

Step = 4 ﹨ ROMAN IV Matching and listening

Match the new words with the activities in 1a.

Play the recording for the students twice. Ask them to listen and write the number of each activity on the line after that person’s name .

Step = 5 ﹨ ROMAN V Presentation

Teacher asks and answers questions about the things three students are doing then lead to the form of general questions:

Is he/she …? Yes ,he/she is. No, he/she isn’t. He/she is….

Step = 6 ﹨ ROMAN VI Play a guessing game

Play a guessing game, have students guess what the people are doing :
