Step(Ⅰ)Review

Show the pictures and Ask students questions

Show the picture in 1a and ask the question: What can Parrot do? Then let students guess the picture and say out their opinion about the picture

Step(Ⅱ) Presentation

1. Play the tape and let students listen to the tape carefully.

Point out the key sentences: You can speak English! Can you sing an English song? What else can you do?... on the blackboard and then let students pay attention to the sentences.

2. Play the tape of 1a and let students finish 1b

3. Do 1c. Read the dialogue in pairs and act it out in groups.
