Step1. Warming-up and reviewing
1. Say hello to each other.
2. Sing a song together: 《What are you doing?》
3. Introduce the six groups.
4. Reviewing the V-ing words：课件呈现单词，比一比谁读的又快又准。
设计意图：通过歌曲、对话互动拉近师生距离，创造了一种轻松、和谐的氛围，通过竞赛读词将学生注意力吸引到课堂。
Step2. Presentation
1. 教师呈现本节课的插图，学生找出新词语cows / rabbits
T: Well, class, Do you like taking photos? In this class, I prepare lots of photos for you, look, it’s an interesting photo. In this photo, we can see two new friends, who are they?
设计意图：通过让学生观察本课时的图片进入到本节课学习，让学生对学习内容有整体的印象。
借助图片学习新词cow, 通过拼读找类似发音----wow, how, now, down.
T: Look, it’s a cow, The cows are drinking water. （强调are的用法）
点明课题----Module3 Unit2 The cows are drinking water
学习新词rabbit, 引导学生观察rabbit的外形和行为特点，加深印象。
T: Look, it’s a rabbit, what’s it like? What are the rabbits doing?
设计意图：通过图片对比动物的单复数，学生看得直观、明了，对照图片描述正在发生的动作，强调be动词的用法，同时让学生联想记忆ow的发音。
学习文本
学生继续观察图片，找出图片上除了奶牛和兔子，还有the sun, birds, ducks, Simon and Daming.
