1. Students are made to sing “Classroom song” and do corresponding actions. (1 minute)

2. Broadcast a chant named “1, 2, green and blue” and let students sing it to review numbers and colors. (1 minutes)

3. Students are going to say the colors of some classroom items and then teacher would introduce the new lesson. (2 minutes)

Warm up

1. I can sing “Classroom song” and do corresponding actions.

2. I sign the chant named “1, 2, green and blue” to review numbers and colors.

3. I can say the colors of classroom items and I know the topic I will learn.

二、乐在其中Presentation (31 minutes)

Learn the new words (14 minutes)

Broadcast the song students learned last semester and let them think about what classroom items they learned. (1 minute)

Ask students to conclude the classroom items they learned and then they should read after teacher. (3 minutes)

Show students the new classroom items they are going to learn. Make them listen and read after teacher. (6 minutes)

Teacher shows some hints to memorize the words. (2 minutes)

Students listen to the record, point to the words on Page 10 &11, repeat the record. (2 minutes)

Let’s play (12 minutes)

1. Teacher point to pictures at random and make students read them as quickly as they can. (3 minutes.)

2. Students look at the screen, when a picture disappear, they should say the English name quickly. (3 minutes)

3. Each time, 8 students are asked to the front of classroom. Everyone should have a card in his/her hand, when then listen to a word the same as his/her hand, he/she should jump for one time. (The other students read the word teacher points to.) (6 minutes)

Listen and number (5 minutes)

1. Before listening, students should be clear about the rule of how to do the exercise. (1 minute)

2. Broadcast record 15 and let students number the pictures by themselves for the first time. (1 minute)

3. For the second time, students should listen carefully, repeat and check their answers with teacher. (3 minutes)

Presentation

A. Learn the new words

1. I listen to the song we learned last semester and think about what classroom items we learned.

2. I conclude the classroom items we learned and read after teacher.

3. I see the new classroom items we are going to learn. Meanwhile, I listen and read after teacher.

4. I listen to the hints carefully.

5. I listen to the record, point to the words on Page 10 &11, repeat the record.
