  Step1 Lead-in

Review what we have learnt this unit-computers in the past and nowadays

Useful sentence-Computers are becoming smaller and better.

  Have a free talk with the students about the usages of modern machines.

  Step2 Presentation

Show an email from Amy.

Let the students have some idea of a comparing iPhone 8 and iPhone X.

  Introduce the topic.

  Step3 Reading Comprehension

  Allow the students a few minutes to read the email and then check their

  comprehension.

Step4 Organization Analysis  

Get the students to grasp the main idea of the email and see how the email is organized.

  Step5 Writing

  Teach the students how to write an essay about comparing two prouducts.

  Illustrate the skills to write an essay.

  Ask the students to write a similar essay in the form of discussion.

  Step6 Further Reading

  教学反思:本节写作课基于以读促写。教师在教学过程中,能够积极运用多媒体手段,通过图片,数据的直观对比。引导学生对两件商品作出在尺寸,价钱,重量等的对比并在学习过程中,辨析重点短语和句子,为下一步写作做好充分准备。课堂气氛活跃,学生参与积极。最后,利用多媒体手段展示学生写作成功并现场分析。
