1.Enjoy the video in which a boy has some problems asks for advice and answer some

questions.

2.Find out a video: a boy has some problems asks for advice. Show the video to students and answer the questions:

①What is the problem about?.Develop their interest in English and lead in to the listening topic.

②How does the boy ask for advice?

Step 2.Before listening

Follow the direction of the teacher. Predict topic-related words which might occur in the phone call.

Give them guide to listen, make sure students understand the new words in the listening material..Help students get familiar with the new words.

Step 3While listening

①Listen to the recording carefully and finish the exercise on P54 A.
