Topic1描述和谈论了学生最喜欢的体育运动项目,介绍了学生最喜欢的体育明星及梦想的职业,语法主要学习表一般将来时be going to 结构,该语法与本话题内容紧密联系。学生愿意学,喜欢学,所以本话题对学生而言不是很难。然而,学生全都是来自农村,对许多运动项目不了解。Section D中对于足球及贝克汉姆学生都不熟悉,因此,我使用图片及幻灯片进行简单介绍。Section D是一节复习课,教会学生对本单元语法及语言点进行归纳与总结是重点也是难点。再者,又有写作,英语写作对于农村学生来说一向很难。所以,我设计了几个教学任务,并引入小组竞赛,采取小组对话、讨论以及游戏、采访等形式来组织课堂教学,以便让学生能更好地掌握本课的内容。

三、重点难点

Main points:

1. Learn some new words and phrases: famous、arrive in / at、teammate、play against、excited、leave (for).

2. Go on talking about sports and future plans.

3. Train the Ss’?ability of reading.

4. Help Ss to communicate with each other and enable them to study in groups and co-operate skillfully.

Difficult points:

1. Teach Ss how to summarize the main language points in the topic.

2. Train the Ss’?ability of writing.

3. Develop the Ss’?ability of communication by learning the useful structures.

Teaching aids:

Multi-media computer, some slides, a tape recorder, school things and so on.

四、教学过程

第一学时

Step 1 Revision

1. Ask the Ss to say the names of different sports as quickly as they can. Such as: the long jump, the high jump, running, basketball, table tennis?, baseball and so on.

2. Ask and answer between T and Ss. For example:

??T: Excuse me, which?sports are you going to do after school?

??S1:I’?m going to play table tennis.

??T: Why?

??S1: Because I like it very much and it can help me to relax.

??T: Very good! Excuse me, what sports are you going to do after school?

??S2: …

Step 2 Presentation

1. Show some pictures like Yao Ming, McGrady, Jay Chou on the screen to present the new words and phrases“famous”,“teammate”, “arrive ”, “excited”, “leave”.Then talk about what you are going to do when Jay Chou arrives at our school.(We are going to meet him, give him some flowers, ask him to sign for us, take photos with him and so on)

2. Show a picture of David Beckham and introduce him to Ss briefly to lead the new lesson.

3. Listen to 1a?and answer “?Is David Beckham going to stay in Chin for long?”. Then let Ss read 1a?quickly and mark T or F.

4. Read 1a again?and find out the key points. Help them to deal with any problems on the screen.?

① arrive in/at 意为“到达”。区别是at后所接宾语为小地点,而in后接宾语为大地点。eg. arrive at our school/ arrive in Shanghai
