四．Teaching procedure:
Ⅰ.Organization: 1.Greeting between T and Ss
Ⅱ.Revision: 1. Have a competition of words and phrases of Unit1 Topic1 on the screen according to the phonetic symbol and Chinese meanings to revise the words and phrases of Unit1 Topic1. Let the Ss read the words one by one and read them aloud.
2. Show the Ss a picture of 1a in Section B. Let the Ss listen to a dialogue on Page 3 and write the right answers in (一), then listen again and check the answers on the screen.
3. Ask the Ss if they heard some words about sports in the listening. Lead the Ss to revise the words about sports, then have a brain storm to know more words about sports.
e.g. basketball football swimming running
volleyball table tennis cycling rowing skating skiing……
4. Ask the Ss what sport they like best, let them answer freely and practice a dialogue(be ready for the writing). Then let the Ss finish (二) to revise some main sentences about sports in topic1. Let several Ss write their answers on the blackboard and check the answers on the screen.
Point out some main phrases:
see sb. do sth.
(Use Plickers to see how many of the Ss have grasped it.)
spend…(in) doing/on sth. 3) take part in
5. Let the Ss finish (三) to lead them to consolidate the grammar of this topic: Future Tense:
(1) be going to+动词原形与“will +动词原形”所表达的意思是一样的，有时可互换。但be going to表示事先打算、计划做的事，口语里较常用。
(2) will +动词原形
(3)动词plan, come, go, leave, fly等用现在进行时表示将要发生的事。
6. Let the Ss finish (四) to see Ann’s sports and check the answers on the screen. (Use Plickers to see how many of the Ss choose the right answers and help them explain some difficulties.)
7. If time is permitted, let the SS write a short passage about their favorite sports, and share with the class.
