T: Let's play a happy game.

Step3: Pre-reading

1.Listen and say

T: We're all happy .but in my school, my student Liutao is not happy.

He's sad. Why?

Let me ask him first.

T:Liu tao, What's the matter?

L:Miss Zhu, I'm hungry.

T:Come and have a pie.

L:Thank you.

Then Ss ask the sentences: What's the matter?

Liu tao answers: I'm thirsty/ tired/ ill.
