Step1: Warm up

Reading share(学生课前准备有关美食,自我演讲交流)

Enjoy the song < How are they?>

T: Boys and girls, from this song ,how are they? (引出单词hungry, thirsty)

Step2: Presentation

1.learn the new words: hungry, thirsty, cold, hot, tired,ill

T: Look at this picture, What’s the matter with him?(肢体语言)

S: He is cold.

T:Yes, if your friend is cold, How do you help him?(引导学生说Here’s...for...)

板书cold及句型。

同法教授其它感觉类单词,并将chant操练贯穿里面。

Step3: Make a chant.

Matter, matter, What’s the matter?

Hot, hot ,I’m hot

Fan, fan, here’s a fan for you.

Step 4: learn a story:

Look at the picture, and guess”What’s the matter with Taotao?”

Watch and choose.

3. Read and answer.(自读课文找出答案)
