Step 2. Presentation

1. 展示图片,学习ill、thirsty、tired等新词

T:Look at the picture,can you ask him?

Ss: What’s the matter with him?(跟着老师练习)

T: Who can answer?

Ss:He is ill. (ill 跟着老师反复读,可让学生领读)

依次学习tired 、thirsty

2.Make a chant.

What’s,What’s, What’s the matter?

hungry ,hungry ,I’m hungry

用tired, thirsty, ill等词进行替换,两人一组互相操练,然后展示一下啊!

3.Rhyme time

What’s, what’s, what’s the matter?

Hungry, hungry, I’m hungry.

What’s what’s, what’s the matter?

Thirsty, thirsty, I’m thirsty.
