四、教学重、难点

1、教学重点:

帮助学生掌握文本大意,阅读技巧的训练与获取,如:skim,scan。

学习策略的培养,如:文本预测,猜测词义,寻找主题句。

对所学食物名词的记忆与掌握,及一日三餐的表达。

2、教学难点:

学生的词汇量匮乏,阅读过程中极易产生畏难情绪。

食物名词及相关短语的记忆与掌握。

文章结构与主旨大意的理解。

六、教学过程设计(方法、手段、意图)

Lead-in

English song (apple red)

To attract my students’ attentions and get them be excited and happy in this class.

Pre-reading

1. Words preview and chant

Some food words showed on the PPT. Read and chant. “ vegetables,meat,staple.etc. ...”

To help my students release their anxious feelings.Because they might have vocabulary obstacles when they are reading.On the other side, chanting can help my students remember the new words in a very relaxing way.

Find your friend

Ask four groups of my Ss to role play as the foods.The left two groups are the judges. The four groups should find out which kind of foods they belong to.(vegetables?Meat?Fruit?Staple?)

To help my students divide the foods into four groups. Actually, it’s a match game. The game will make my students more relaxed and active in this class.
