---In activity 1, students need to find some key information of the topic and try to master the structure of the text.

Step III. Activity 2—Mini-writing task

---In activity 2, students are divided into 4 groups. Each group is required to write two or three sentences with the mastered writing skills according to the chosen pictures.

Step IV. Writing time

Students are asked to write a short passage in regard to a pie chart, which shows how students use the Internet in their spare time. (4 students as a group) A passage is divided into 4 parts, and each student should write one point in order to compose a complete one. At the same time, they need to write sentences that match the requirements of each paragraph. When they finish, they are required to stick the sentences in the answer sheet.
