模块八 Module VIII Appreciating literature and art《Unit 3 The world of colours and light Task(2) Reporting on a visit to an art exhibition Skills building 3》优秀教案

学情分析:

学生已具备在熟悉的语境中较为熟练地用特殊疑问句构建恰当的交际交流的能力;学生在Skills building1中获得了对中国画家Zhang Linhong的经历及他的作品《桂林掠影》有所了解,但不能用英语描述其作品的艺术特色。

教学目标:

1.能熟练掌握7个特殊疑问句问询艺术作品的问题;

2.能用英语表达 Zhang Linhong<桂林山峦>的特色;

3.能在交流中加深对中国山水画的理解,坚定文化自信,树立正确的价值观;

4.能有传播中国山水画艺术的意识,能够用所学的英语向国外友人讲述中国山水画的特色,及桂林山水的优美风景。

教学重难点:

重点:用英语表述《桂林掠影》的艺术风格;

难点:在采访对话中领悟中国山水画的特色,增强文化自信,产生传播中国艺术的意识,感悟,培养严谨的艺术创作精神。

教学过程:

Warming up

Step 1 T shows some pictures of Guilin and let them describe the pictures using the expressions in P43(eg, beautiful views of the Li Rivers…the surrounding hills..)

(设计意图:创设情境,引出主题,巩固描述桂林山水的词汇)

Step 2. T show a poster of Zhang Linghong ‘s exhibition to direct Ss’ attention to Zhang Linghong’s paintings .T asks Ss to tell Zhang Linghoong’s experience using what they learned the 1st period.

(设计意图:创设情境,导入主题,激活学生已有的对Zhang Linghong认知.)

Key words on the Bb: …was born..; .began painting..; gained admission to..;…after graduation….; .then he set up…;…in the 1990s,……returned to..Glance of Guilin….

Step 3 Talk about general information of Zhang Linghong’s collection: Glance of Guilin

T invite Ss to read aloud the last paragraph of C on page43;then T ask the following:

●Why did Zhang Linghong give the collection the name” Glance of Guilin”? (.. all of Guilin)

● Why did Zhang Linghong put Guilin Heights in the first place ?(.3metres high…steep hills… outstanding..)

Step 4 Talk about technical information of Zhang Linghong’s painting, Guilin Heights

T show the picture--Guilin Heights ;divide the students into 6 groups, every group includes 2 Ss and everyone plays the role of the student and the artist in turns; T show Ss the following cards like PETS; T invite SS to interview the artist- Zhang Linghong about his techniques used in his painting using the useful expressions on Page 44
