1. To write a report on a visit to an art exhibition with the proper structure and modify each one’s writing by observing a sample and discussing with group members.

2. To practice and develop the ability of gathering information , expressing their opinions and practicing their spoken English.

Step1 Warming up

Let students translate some sentences related to a report on a visit to an art exhibition from the part of reading .

Ask and answer between the teacher and the students by presenting some pictures of tour, museums and Ding Shaoguang’s art exhibition.

【Explanation】通过翻译Reading 部分关于参观博物馆的句型为本节课的写作积累语言素材,然后通过师生对话同时展现有关旅行和参观画展的图片,激起学生的学习兴趣,并自然而然导入新课—参观后如何写一篇参观艺术展的旅游报告。

Step2 Pre-writing(ppt)

Teacher asks students to observe and read a sample about a report on a visit to the National art museum of China .

Have students discuss how to write a report on a visit with their group members .(During the discussion, they must finish 3tasks.)

Task1:Discuss how to organize a report on a visit to an art exhibition with the proper structure.

Task2:What main tenses can we use while writing.

Task3:Think about more sentences about a report on a visit to an art exhibition.

【Explanation】学生自己动脑筋观察报告样本然后到组内讨论弄清楚如何写一个艺术展的报告,并鼓励学生思考有关艺术展报告的更多句子,完成3个任务。

Step3While-writing(ppt)

Fast writing

Students write the report quickly for 5-10 minutes according to the material.

2.Goup composition.

1.Work in groups and discuss the writing including the advantages ,disadvantages grammar mistakes of each other.

2.Modificating

Modify each one’s writing based on the suggestions from the previous step.

【Explanation】作文都是反复修改润色出来的,学生之间通过互相修改作文,有助于相互取长补短,进一步巩固了本节课所学的内容。
