Step1. Warm up

2. Free talk

T:This is a map of the world, which foreign country do you know? (Say some foreign countries.)

Today we will know some new places The Great Wall the Yellowstone National Park,Great Barrier Reef….

Ss: Read after it

T: Where are they from?.We can know a lot from them.

Step2. Presentation?

1. T: Great BarrierReef is in Australia.Sydney is an interesting city in it.

2.T: What do you know about Sydney? What do you want to know about Sydney ?

Ss discuss in groups.

T: air 的发音,以及其他单词的复习。

Learning tips:

1.遇到不会的单词可以结合上下文理解并询问同伴。

2.结合思维导图在文中找一找,划一划。

3.小组内交流,组长负责组织语言,进行汇报。

小组汇报:文本中主要介绍澳大利亚的三个方面:animals, sport, city

About animals: There are many kangaroos and koalas in Australia.

T: Can you teach the two words?

指导学生读kangaroos and koalas 两个单词。

The same way to learn : Australia football, Sydney。
