Step1. Warm up:

1. Greetings.

2. Song. 《I’m a little teacher》

3. Free talk.

a. 教师自我介绍并谈论自己的梦想

T: Hello, Boys and girls. I’m Miss Fang. I’m from Wang Zhang Primary School. Look! They’re our Mascots Ya Ya and Rong Rong. Ya Ya tells us we should be elegant. Rong Rong tells us we should be cooperative. I think you will be elegant and cooperative today.

T: When I was a student, I wanted to be a teacher because I love children. So I studied hard. I read many books. I read English every day. Now my dream comes true.

b. 教师介绍自己的学生及他们的梦想

T: Look! They’re my students from Wang Zhang Primary School. They have a happy family. This is my student Gu Yiyang/…. Can you guess? What does she/he want to be?

c. 教师询问上课班级学生的梦想

T: Today you’re my students too. Can you tell me what do you want to be? Why?

S: I want to be a/an… Because …

【设计意图:教师通过谈论自己小时候的梦想及自己学生的梦想,自然过渡到询问上课班内学生的梦想,拉近了彼此的距离,且在谈论的过程中进行了相关语言信息的输入,为下文语言的输出作了很好铺垫。】

4. Revision.

复习Story time 及Cartoon time 板块中人物的梦想。

T: They’re our old friends. Do you remember their dreams?

a. 复习Story time中人物的梦想,运用句型…wants to be a/an… Because…

T: Mike had got a toothache. Then he went to see the dentist. Now he wants to be a dentist. He wants to help children care about teeth. Mike will love his dream. I think love is important. Do you love your dream?

b. 复习Cartoon time中人物的梦想,完成表格

T: To make their dreams come true. They will read many books, do more sport, have painting lessons and go to cooking school. I think action is important, too.

【设计意图:复习Story time 及Cartoon time 板块中人物的梦想,既是对所学内容的复习与巩固,同时又引入了要实现梦想的两个重要因素——“热爱”和“行动”。】

Step2. Presentation and practice:
