Step1 Lead-in

Good morning, everyone. I’m so happy to share class with you. We’ll going to learn Unit 5 Topic1 Section C, Take it easy. We just talk about a movie. It’s a music movie. There are many wonderful songs in it. At first, let’s Enjoy one of them “Do Re Mi”. Play the flash.

—What do you think of the music?

—It is /sounds wonderful/ lively. (New word: lively)

Purpose: Use the song of the movie to be the beginning, it can lead students into the class easily, and arouse their interest. (利用原声电影里的歌曲导入新课,一下子就把学生带入课堂,激发了学生学习兴趣.)

Step 2 Pre-reading

1. Guessing game: Look at the posters and the words in the box to guess the main idea of the story.

Purpose: By comparing the two pictures, enable students to know about the influences of before Maria comes and after she comes. (通过两幅图的强烈对比,直观形象的表达玛丽亚到来对这个家的影响。)
