(一)歌曲热身,复习旧知: Sing together.(复习再现二年级歌曲What’s your favorite subject? )

(二)好朋友约定(评价激励性语言): Say together: Good, better, best.

【设计意图】营造英语氛围;操练best中字母e的发音,为后面chant教学做铺垫;告诉学生本节课的好朋友约定是:Good, better, best.

(三)师生间、生生间交流喜欢的科目。 Do you like English? Yes, I do. I like English. And you? Me, too. We both like English. How about you? Me, too. We all like it.

【设计意图】通过师生间、生生间自然真实交流,帮助学生回顾以前所学的科目词汇和“喜欢和不喜欢 (Likes and dislikes)”句型,为新知学习做好铺垫;同时渗透We both/all like it.

(四)向同学们介绍他们的新朋友—Mr. Subject 1.(To show a picture in class)Guess! What’s his name? 2. Say hello to Mr. Subject.

【设计意图】介绍朋友Mr. Subject,通过和Mr. Subject打招呼,自然学习难点单词subject。

二、体验感知, 操作实践

(一)交代评价任务:呈现课表 T:Look! They are all subjects. If you do a good job, you can get your favorite subject cards. Later, you can join in the lucky draw. More subjects, more chances.

【设计意图】以做游戏及各种用中学的交流活动为主线,表现好可获得科目卡片的评价方式,使学生处于主动积极的学习状态中。评价工具不但起到学习单词的作用,同时也为句子操练和总结评价部分做准备。直观的评价工具,不但起到激励学生的作用,也为教学内容服务。

(二)听音,看图,猜学科:Look and listen:“Who are Mr Subject’s children?” T: Mr. Subject has some children. Guess! Who are they? (PPT依次呈现 Chinese, maths, English, music, PE, art) eg: What subject? It’s Chinese. Chinese is interesting.(课件) Do you like it? ~We all like it. (利用猜学科游戏以不同形式充分操练Do you like…? And you?等句型。)

【设计意图】通过听一听,猜一猜,聊一聊,复习旧知,操练Do you like….?句型. 给出We all like it.的语言信号,帮助学生感知语言,分散教学难点。

(三)小组竞赛方式,设计做游戏及各种用中学的交流活动,呈现并操练新知:

1. Game Time( 1)Game A : Find out the same pictures: PPT呈现许多科目图片,学生找出相同图片。 (2)Game B: Hit and say the words. (3) Game C:Dance and say the words.

【设计意图】PPT设计相关单词操练游戏,结合学生心理年龄特征,采取小组竞赛形式,调动学生参与活动的兴趣,帮助学生加深对单词的印象,同时进行了要热爱每一门学科的德育渗透。

2. An interview. (1) T: Mr. Subject wants to know the subjects you like. He will ask this question.(听音乐, 了解问句What’s your favourite subject?) We can also ask like this, what subject do you like best? (板书句型) (2) T:Who wants to be Mr. Subject? 生生互动交流。

【设计意图】从What’s your favorite subject?到What subject do you like best?激活学生原有的知识,用旧知引新知,做到新旧知识的自然衔接。通过采访的情景,操练本课重点句型。在真实的语境中进行操练,将语言与其表达情景真实地联系在一起。角色扮演成功的同学可以得到自己喜爱的学科卡片,激发参与的热情。

3. 学习chant (1)导入并学习本课chant T: You did a good job. Here’s a twister from Mr. Subject. ( Show the long twister) English, Chinese, maths,… Oh, it’s too long. We can also say it like this. ( Show the simple one) English and all the rest. What subject do you like best? (2) 引导学生编一个新的chant (电脑呈现) _______ and all the rest. What subject do you like best?

【设计意图】小组合作说、编、演绕口令的游戏,通过说一说,编一编,读一读,由浅入深。帮助学生理解all the rest的含义,学会小歌谣。

4. 学习课文 T: Mr. Subject knows your favorite subjects. What about Kate’s favorite subject. Let’s have a look and answer the questions. (PPT 呈现对话,带着问题听对话,回答有关对话的问题,齐读,分角色读,小组 练习。)

【设计意图】课文的呈现将本课所学功能句,在情境中真实再现。全班读,角色读,小组读,为不同学生提供不同展示平台,使每个学生都有发展的空间。

三、整体回拓,反馈评价

(一) To write down the answers at the back of the cards and put it in the lucky box. What subjects do you like best? ~I like____________.

(二) Choose one to ask: T: …., What subject do you like best? T: You are the lucky girl. Now you can choose next lucky child. S1:…., What subject do you like best? S2: I like…best.

【设计意图】以听说读写的形式对所学做出评价, 在完成评价任务过程中,发现问题,看到成绩,增加自信,明确努力方向。Lucky time评价总结,真正实现了评价工具的高效化。回答问题对学生的书写技能进行操练,同时最后的抽奖对话,引导学生运用所学进行交流;抽奖活动再次激活学生的积极性,激发他们学习英语的兴趣。

四、课后作业

1. Listen to the recording of the dialogue and read after it.

2. Interview your classmates or friends about their favorite subjects.

【设计意图】梯度作业,满足不同学生的不同需求。也将课堂教学,延续到课后。
